Plainfield area chamber of commerce announces the first annual awards luncheon!
 
The Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the annual award luncheon on July 21st, 2010 at Whitetail Ridge Golf Course. The Ambassador Committee will recognize the businesses in the following categories:
 
Ø      The Jan Sebby Advocate of the Year Award
Ø      The Wayne Perry Community Service Award
Ø      Business Achievement Award
Ø      Small Business of the Year Award
Ø      New Business Award
 
“This is one of the chamber’s most exciting events,” said Jim Murray, co-chair of the Ambassador Committee. “We are pleased to partner with our friends at Whitetail Ridge and know that this will be a day to remember.”
 
Three Plainfield District 202 High School students took top honors and 4 more received honorable mentions, in the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Young Photographers Contest. The Young Photographers Contest required student to take photographs in Plainfield depicting their perspective of the town. The top 3 prizes will be presented at the Annual Awards Luncheon.
