Pete & Meghan Williams proudly opened their Nancy’s Pizza in November of 2010 and this past week, they commemorated the opening by performing a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce. They were joined by several other chamber members and staff who came out to join in the festivities, which ended with an assortment of pizzas for everyone to enjoy. Selections included the award winning “Original Stuffed Spinach”, which is Meghan’s favorite and also included the distinctive flavors of Pete’s favorite pizza, which was topped with spinach, onions, kalamata olives, feta cheese and fresh garlic.

 

Nancy’s serves thin, super thin, stuffed and stuffed lite pizza’s; tasty appetizers that are baked, not fried; fresh, crisp salads; sandwiches; delicious homemade pastas and more! It is their commitment that when it’s time for pizza, you can completely count on them for the highest quality and fresh ingredients prepared daily; dough and sauce, cheese and vegetables, seasonings and spices.

 

Their goal as business owners is to make their customer’s experience with them memorable. They know it is not just the food that makes the experience fulfilling; but also their passion for customer service, serving the community and making you feel welcomed into their family. Their mission statement hangs on the wall in their front entrance, along with a family picture where their daughter, Addison, who is dressed as a pizza slice with a little chef hat.

 

Outside of running the daily restaurant operations, Pete & Meghan enjoy spending time as a family with their daughter and their dog, Wrigley, a Weimaraner who happens to be a World Champion dock diver! They have traveled the country competing with him and last year, he took 2^nd place in Salem, Oregon at the Dock Dogs World Championships.

 

The restaurant is located at 111th and Route 59 (next to Walgreens) and they are open daily for carryout and delivery. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday from 3:30 pm to 10:00pm; Friday and Saturday from 3:30pm to 11:00pm; and Sunday from 3:30pm to 9:00pm.
