Heather Klein with Emmy And Me Interiors

Heather Klein, professional Interior Redesigner and owner of Emmy & Me Interiors, a local home interior and staging company loves her job. “During the first 10 years of marriage, my husband and I moved 12 times; I guess the idea of interior decorating and using what you already have come natural for me; and with 2 small children during those years, I really learned to be creative and think outside of the box.”

An early love of decorating and design inspired Heather to pursue a career as an interior decorator. Her talents and experiences quickly steered her toward redesign and home staging, the two areas on which she focused her education.

Emmy & Me Interiors became a reality in 2006. The name Emmy & Me Interiors originated as an inspired tribute to Heather Klein’s first granddaughter, Emily Anne.
Heather was always amazed by the joy and excitement she saw on Emily’s face when she discovered new colors, textures and objects. “Because homes should reflect those who live there, the goal is to hear each homeowner’s vision and bring their living space to life; simply put, it’s all about them.”

Emmy & Me Interiors received the 2007-2008 Small Business of the Year Award from The Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce and The Society of Decorating Professionals named Emmy & Me Interiors as a semi-finalist in the 2008 decorating contest.
