The Goddard School located in Plainfield believes that the basis for healthy learning is providing all children with active, playful lifestyles enriched with good nutrition. The educational preschool sponsored the Goddard School Block Party event in order to spread the word to families in their community. Children and their families engaged in a variety of exciting fitness, nutrition & playful learning activities based on the core curriculum & enrichment programs that are an integral part of the FLEX™ Learning Program offered at The Goddard School.

Joliet Area Community Hospice held it Hops for Hospice at McBride’s Pub & Grille located at 78162 Caton Farm Road in Plainfield. A quarter from every Miller Lite draft and bottle sold from 5pm to 9pm was donated. All proceeds support Joliet Area Community Hospice’s efforts in providing pediatric hospice & palliative care, honoring Veterans with our Pride, Honor & Dignity Program, community bereavement services & quality end of life care for every patient.
