Plainfield Harvest 5K Run/Walk

Planning for the 12th Annual Edward Plainfield Harvest 5K Run is in the works!
 
 
The Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Edward Plainfield are hosting the 12th annual Edward Plainfield Harvest 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, September 26, 2010. For the fifth year, this event will also feature a one-mile kid’s run for children 6 to 12 years of age sponsored by the Plainfield Meijer store. 
 
The planning committee has been working on organizing the run since March. With an anticipated 1,200 runners for the Edward Plainfield 5K and 250 youths for the Meijer Kids Miler extensive planning is required.
 
This year the event will feature a dry-fit long sleeve running shirt and goody bag. Registration is only $30.00 and a portion of the proceeds will go to assisting community organizations. Since inception of the run PACC’s donated over $100,000.00 back to the community.
