Rich Ponulak - The Enterprise Newspaper - July Ambassador of the Month

Rich Ponulak, advertising manager for the Enterprise, Plainfield Advantage an Shorewood Sentinel Newspapers, is the PACC Ambassador of the Month for July 2009.
Rich came to the Enterprise in October 2007 with more than 20 years experience in community newspapers. With his strong belief in community involvement, it didn't take him long to jump on the volunteer bandwagon.

Since that time, Rich has been involved with a number of the Chamber groups: Ambassador, Business Expo, Plainfield Harvest 5K, and the Membership Awards Dinner committees. He is also a regular participant at many of the ribbon cuttings, Chamber Network Nights and monthly membership luncheons. This past June, Rich was the recipient of the 2009 Jan Sebby Advocate of the Year award for his involvement in the Chamber and the community.

Rich and his wife Bev have two children and have called Plainfield home for the last 12 years. During that span, he was involved with the community sports programs, coaching his kids in PAC, PJC, PSA and PWC. Rich is currently involved with the Shorewood Chamber of Commerce, where he volunteers his time and talents with their programs and is a member of the Shorewood Chamber Board of Directors. He is a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, chairs the Evangelism Committee there and serves as a member of the Administrative Council.
