Our mission statement is: The Plainfield Fire Protection District is dedicated to preserving the quality of life by saving lives and protecting property through efficient emergency response and prevention.  We strive to be prepared for a variety of emergencies that can arise through training and preparation.  In 2013 we responded to 4,173 calls.
